Summer's nearly over, and for many the school year is beginning. I've always found it interesting how out of all seasons (for me, at least) summer always flies by the fastest, and also has some of the greatest memories. This summer, I've felt for the most part very nostalgic. As most senior students do, I suppose. Everyone has either left for or is starting college, while I continue studying to apply in the springtime. Not too stressed about this, watching everyone get into the routine gives me a sigh of relief that I have until spring to begin worrying about grades and the like
Don't think thats all I've been dwelling on though lol. Had a great summer with my friends and family; I went to Mexico and actually saw Chichen Itza with my family, and then two days after coming home, left on my senior trip to visit my two best friends in California! Stayed with them for nearly two weeks. It was very lovely and fun. Lots of nice weather! Better than the muggy humidity of TN and storms I came home to haha ^_^;. I am looking forward to the springtime though. Theres quite a lot of things I'm looking forward to in college, and I'm a nerd and love studying! lol. One thing is for sure; next summer is gonna be awesome!
Plus, I have a part time job, where most people have either quit or won't be back until next holiday, so good hours for me! Definitely very blessed and grateful in that aspect. I work at a movie theatre, in case anyone was wondering. I love my work, very dearly; and will miss the many friends I've made in the past year
I'll see them soon though, thats the great thing. And hey, there's Facebook!
I may actually start using this account again to submit deviations this upcoming spring lmbo. It's been so long, hopefully I won't disappoint any watchers that are left! My father has agreed to start letting me work more with his professional camera, so we'll see.
Just figured I'd update since I hadn't said anything since April. Sorry about that. I'm a busy bee lol. I hope everyone's summer went splendidly, and good luck on your tests, papers, and projects for this upcoming school year! :wave
